The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has officially announced the results of the written examination conducted for the recruitment of Librarian posts in GCET and Higher Education Department. The results, published under Rule 42 of the JKPSC (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2022, and in accordance with Rules 31 and 45 of the JKPSC (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, list the candidates who have qualified for the next stage: the Oral Test/Viva Voce.

  • Written Test Date: The written examination was successfully conducted on 09.06.2024.
  • Qualified Candidates: The names of candidates who have qualified for the Oral Test/Viva Voce are provided in Annexures A and B of the notification.
  • Next Stage: A schedule for the discipline-wise Oral Test/Viva Voce will be announced separately.

How to Check the Results

Candidates who appeared for the written test can access their results by visiting the official website of JKPSC at www.jkpsc.nic.in.

To ensure transparency and clarity, JKPSC advises all candidates to carefully review the notification and annexures for their roll numbers and further instructions.

  1. Provisional Candidature:
    • The selection of candidates listed in the annexures is provisional.
    • Verification of eligibility criteria, including age, qualifications, and experience, will be conducted at the time of the Oral Test/Viva Voce.
    • Any discrepancies found during or after the interview process may lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
  2. Eligibility Conditions:
    • Only those candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications and age limits as of the cut-off date will be permitted to participate in the Oral Test/Viva Voce.
  3. Document Verification:
    • Candidates must produce original certificates and testimonials on the day of the Oral Test/Viva Voce.
  4. Legal Disclaimer:
    • The selection process is subject to the outcome of any writ petitions currently under review by competent courts.
