The much-awaited provisional answer key for the Telangana Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2025 has been released today, 24 January 2025, by the Directorate of School Education, Telangana. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download the subject-wise answer key from the official website at tgtet2024.aptonline.in.
This year’s TS TET exams were conducted between 2 and 20 January 2025 in two shifts daily: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Approximately 2.75 lakh candidates registered for this important exam, which serves as a gateway for aspiring teachers in Telangana.
Steps to Download the TS TET 2025 Provisional Answer Key
To check and download the provisional answer key, follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: tgtet2024.aptonline.in.
- Locate and click on the link titled “Provisional Answer Key” on the homepage.
- Log in using your roll number and date of birth.
- Download the answer key and review it carefully for accuracy.
Objection Submission Process
Candidates who find discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key have the opportunity to raise objections. The objection window will remain open until 27 January 2025. To file an objection:
- Submit a supporting document to validate your claim.
- Pay the requisite objection fee.
Once all objections are reviewed, the authorities will release the final answer key. The final results of TS TET 2025 are scheduled to be announced on 5 February 2025.

Exam Structure and Passing Criteria
The TS TET comprises two papers:
- Paper I: For candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5.
- Paper II: For candidates aiming to teach classes 6 to 8.
To qualify for the TS TET, candidates need to achieve the following minimum scores:
- General category: 60% or above.
- BC category: 50% or above.
- SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates: 40% or above.
The Telangana government has made some significant changes to the TET process. From this year forward, the TS TET will be conducted annually. Furthermore, the validity of the TS TET certificate has been extended from seven years to lifetime validity. This enhancement ensures that TET-qualified candidates have greater flexibility in pursuing teaching positions without the need for repeated certification.
